Ingredients:

Daal preferably channa or arhar (toor) 1 cup pre-soaked
1 mango semi sweet raw - diced and peeled
Onion 1/2 sliced for baghar
Mint leaves few
Salt upto taste
Red crushed pepper 1 tsp
Green chilli--4 to 5
Turmeri powder--1/2 tsp
Oil or ghee for baghar

Preparation:

Put dhal to boil for 1/2 hr or as long as it takes to get really good tender.Then add mango cubes and other spices and cook it for a while,mango will get cook in 5 mins so bring dhal to boil mean while mango will get cooked.

Then prepare vaghar,in a pan heat ghee or oil and then add onions and fry it then add mint leaves and green chillies(left over from dhal dont have to put all of them in dhal seperate it prior)then pour hot ghee in dal.Dhal costistency should be think

Serve with roti or rice or as you like.
