How to serve: Cold
1/2 packet orange jelly crystals
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
5 to 6 fresh bread slices
1 cup chopped fresh fruits
2 teaspoons powdered sugar (optional)
Remove the crust of the bread slices and cut them into thick strips.
Arrange them neatly on the sides of a decorative jelly mould.
Boil 1 1/2 cups of water in a pan and remove from the fire.
Add the jelly crystals and lemon juice and whisk well.
Pour some of the jelly mixture over the bread slices to soak them.
Put the fruits in the cavity of the jelly mould. Taste and add the powdered sugar if required. Mix well.
Top with the remaining jelly mixture and chill until set.
When you wish to serve, unmould on a plate and serve immediately.
