Chicken cooked in fragrant spices and zesty sour cream. The gravy tastes great over rice or noodles.
Total servings: 4
Preperation time: 30 minutes
Best for: All
How to serve: Hot
1 lb chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes.
500 ml of sour cream (avoid using nonfat, try using regular sour cream here.)
1 medium onion.
1 tbsp garlic paste.
1 tbsp ginger paste.
1 tsp salt.
2 tsp coriander powder.
2 tsp cumin powder.
12 tsp chilli powder (acc. to spice level.)
12 tsp black pepper powder (acc. to spice level.)
1/4 tsp tumeric powder.
After cutting chicken let it sit in lemon juice until its time to be cooked.
Cut onions into small fine pieces.
Fry onions over medium heat in a small amount of vegetable oil until brown. Add half a cup of water and the ginger, garlic, and all spices.
After a short while, add chicken and cook until done (approximately 1520 minutes.)
After chicken is cooked most of the water should be dried up, lower heat to medium low and add sour cream.
Bring to a boil and it is done. Enjoy!
